About Us
The World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh is an independent, non-partisan, non-profit organization. Established in 1931, the Council?s new mission is to convene and connect people around global issues to build a thriving, competitive, and inclusive Pittsburgh. Serving approximately 2,500 students and 1,500 community members annually, the Council focuses on providing youth, educators, business leaders, and the community-at-large with locally relevant programs that forge pathways to a more globally minded and globally connected world that is equitable and just for all.
